Ms. Fortney has come to us with a great deal of experience in Education. She has served in various capacities with student learning being at the center of her work. She has worked as a teacher in grades 1st through 5th. She has served as a School Base Resource Teacher and an Administrator designee. In the work that she has done, she has been able to touch the lives of countless students and their families. She has been described as a very hard worker by her colleagues who is dedicated to the field of education. She holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Liberal Arts from California State University at San Marcos (CSUSM). She also hold a Masters Degree in Education Leadership from Concordia University. She most recently was working the capacity of supporting teachers as a coach, data analyzer and administrative support. We believe she will be a tremendous asset on our Administrative team and be a great Assistant Principal at Bonsall Elementary!
