Mandatory Fire Evacuation for SMS and BHS

We just received notice that there is a fire near Interstate 15 and HWY 395. A mandatory evacuation has been ordered by our local fire department for Sullivan Middle School and Bonsall High School. Buses are on the way to the campus to pick up students. Parents may also choose to pick up their child at the school. Students residing in the Lake Rancho Viejo neighborhood will be transported to the Bonsall Community Center. Students who are supposed to stay after school at SMS and BHS will be transported to the Community Center (31505 Old River Road) by our transportation department. Parents will need to pick up their child at the Community Center as soon as possible.

We will update the Bonsall Facebook page and BUSD website with information about the fire as it is received.
