Introduction
The Bonsall Unified School District Special Education Services supports general education and special education teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, and families in meeting the needs of students with disabilities. Our team provides leadership and guidance to ensure compliance with State and Federal law while developing effective special education programs grounded in evidence-based practices. We are committed to building capacity among all staff to promote meaningful access to General Education as the foundation for student success from Pre-K through Adult Transition. Our programs serve students with Mild/Moderate to Extensive Support Needs.
The Bonsall Unified School District (BUSD) Special Education Services is committed to ensuring that all children with disabilities have access to a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). We emphasize high-quality special education and related services designed to meet each student’s unique needs and prepare them for further education, employment, and independent living.
The Bonsall Unified School District (BUSD) is a member of the North Coastal Consortium for Special Education (NCCSE) Special Education Local Planning Agency (SELPA).
